WHAT HAPPENED TO 'MTN MAGIC NUMBER'

Hhhhm.... Na waaah oooh... It is no longer news that the MTN Magic Number service is under construction or maybe re-construction.

When the Magic Number service came to inception, it was a great tool for friends and lovers to talk for long without worries of cost. Boys wey no dey call their babes take advantage start to dey make-up. Some even use am break-up. Imagine say your boy/girlfriend no agree to add your number as Magic Number, and adds another person's number as her/his Magic number. E mean say your number no get Magic. Hahahah!!!

Ok naaa, people wey dey cheat, decide not to add any number just so they won't get caught. You never see anything for Naija; The fear of getting caught cheating is the beginning of wisdom.

MAGIC NUMBER MADNESS

The Magic Number Service really cause wahala... People start to dey talk excessively. People start to dey make Mid-night calls for day-time. People no fit concentrate on their jobs again. Some people even get accidents, just because of Magic number. Girls just dey talk for street dey shout and laugh carelessly. E no stop there oh; Recharge card stop to dey sell. Babes no fit order for recharge card carelessly again. Na extra battery and multiple charger boys come buy give their girlfriends. Some people wey before dey load up N1500 credit weekly, come dey load N100 after 3 weeks. Shaaii... MTN see Weeiiin...

SUDDENLY MTN WISE-UP

All say wise-up! Wise-up!  Suddenly MTN wise-up. Nobody tell them say card no dey sell again. So they decide to end am with Koni-Koni way.
They first start with this message: "THE MTN MAGIC NUMBER SERVICE IS UNAVAILABLE  FOR SERVICE IMPROVEMENT. PLEASE TRY AGAIN AFTER TWO WEEKS. THANKS FOR USING MTN"  Who tell them say we no like the way the service dey. They first use this message to give peolple hope.

After 6 weeks of trying again, Tori change. They come bring another message: "SORRY, MTN MAGIC NUMBER IS STILL UNAVAILABLE DUE TO ONGOING SERVICE  IMPROVEMENT. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE. THANK YOU" Na dis one still dey till today.

So my questions now are:  how long will it take them to improve the service? Or what is the service improvement they are even doing?  Or is this a way to make people forget about Magic Number and end it silently? Na waaah oooh... MTN, una own no good oh...
