D'BANJ, TUFACE GET 'BET AWARDS' NOMINATIONS
Nigerian musicians Tuface Idibia and the Koko-master D'banj have been nominated in this year's BET Awards.
Tuface Idibia and D’Banj have been nominated as they fall under the ‘Best International Act: Africa’ category. Last year, Nigerians M.I and P Square were the first Nigerian acts to be included in the nominations list.
Tuface and D’banj will contend with Congolese singer Fally Ipupa, South African rap duo Teargas, D-Black from Ghana and the legendary singer Angelique Kidjo.
The show will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2011 and will be hosted by American actor and comedian Kevin Hart.
